Our neighborhood restaurant is just around the corner from our house has an offering of traditional Portuguese food at a very good price, service is good and you feel at home. It maybe doesn’t look to be much from the outside but don’t hesitate go in. As in many Portuguese restaurants the TV is always on showing a football match either from the Portuguese league or any other match of importance.
The menu offers a variety of fresh fish/seafood (ask for the catch of the day) or meat of different kinds always barbecued over charcoal or by slow cooking, etc. Lunch time is very busy, they always have the “lunch of the day” (recommended), each Friday for lunch the meal of the day is ”suckling pig” (in Portugeese leitao) and if you would like to have leitao for dinner you can make a reservation otherwise it’s a big risk that there will be no left.

The owner a very kind and interesting person and only Portugese people inside except for us. We will certainly go there again.
