Once in a while instead of lunch we go for some tapas, in Vila Real de Santo Antonio there are a couple of good tapas places and one of them is Habemos Tapas just between the city hall and Avenida Republica (just by the river). In winter time when the sun is out it’s nice to sit outside sheltered from the wind and enjoy.

You have a selection of delicious tapas booth Spanish and Portugeese style, we can recommend the cheese from the oven (gratinado), octopus gallego style, bacalao a bras, filled squid, pimentos de padron, etc. and for drinks we love their sangria.
